Welcome!

Psi Chi is the National Honors Society in Psychology. Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging and maintaining excellence in scholarship while advancing the field of psychology. Membership is open to all undergraduate students who aim to make psychology one of their major interests and who meet the minimum requirements. Benefits include special access to research opportunities, a chance to connect with psychology professors, and more!

CHECK OUT THESE AWARD OPPORTUNITIES!

The Psi Chi Research Award is given to the Psi Chi member whose research write up displays planning, solid methods, a careful analysis, and a thoughtful and thorough discussion. Please submit your research write up to psichislu@gmail.com as an attachment to apply for this award. Please note, this needs to be independent research and the entire write up should be complete by the due date.

The Sayons Award is given to the Psi Chi member who has demonstrated superior scholarship, commitment, service, and involvement to the psychology department at Saint Louis University, and to the greater community. Applicants should submit a copy of their resume/CV to psichislu@gmail.com for review and consideration of this award. The resume should include all three of the above elements and both your cumulative GPA and psychology GPA should be noted.

Both of these awards are a great honor and we encourage you to apply for one or both of them. Note that cash prizes are awarded to the Research and Sayons award recipients. If you have any questions, please email us!  The application deadline is Thursday, February 20 by 5 pm.
