We have many opportunities for volunteering. We need volunteers to run our fundraisers, spread the word about Habitat, work at the ReStore, and attend build days. We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities for you to pick and choose from. Learn about a few below, and look here to sign up for new opportunities!

Volunteer Experiences
Fundraising
Fundraising events offer the widest variety of ways to volunteer. You may go door to door in St. Louis neighborhoods "trick-or-treating for change." Maybe you will help build our very own house in the quad in our Build-A-House fundraiser. Or maybe you will organize a restaurant night to the Flying Cow or Cafe Ventana. There are always ways to help with our fundraising goals!

ReStore
Habitat for Humanity St. Louis operates two "ReStores" in St. Louis. These stores, similar to Goodwill stores, resell used home goods and construction materials. The profits form these sales go towards new Habitat homes in St. Louis and are one of the largest sources of fundraising for the local affiliate. Volunteers assist the store's staff in operations and management of the store.

Builds
Builds are what Habitat is known most for. Volunteers get to help build the Habitat houses. You might be cutting the wood for the frame, nailing in the siding, painting the walls, or putting the finishing touches on the lawn. Volunteers learn new skills every time they participate in a build, and it is one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences you will ever have.

Tabling
When we are advertising our next big event, we often have a table in the Busch Student Center where we engage people passing by. We share information about the event, sell tickets, and get people excited about Habitat. Sign up for a one hour slot or the whole day, and put on a smile for Habitat!
